smiley can recognise the numbers 1 & 2. on thursday morning he saw something with the numeral 1 on it & said, "one." i told him that yes he was right, but thought it might have just been a fluke.
that afternoon, i went to the local pool with denise & her little boy, ryan. i told her about it & said, "let's test him out." we were near the diving blocks, so i pointed to the number 1 on the first one & asked him what the number was. he said, "one." both denise & i were very impressed. then i took him to the second diving block & pointed to the number & asked him what that number said. he said, "two."
we were so impressed. i thought i might have been pushing my luck when i tried the third diving block with the number three .. & i was, but it was worth a try. lol! 
anyway, i'm about as impressed as i can get that he knows 1 & 2. clever little chicken.
