defrag for mum - 09:48 PM

mum's computer hasn't been behaving very well, so i'm just about to set it to defreg overnight. it's a bit of an older laptop, so if you don't hear from me before i leave for bahrain, you know that the defrag killed it. there's not a high chance of it happening, but there is a chance. cross your fingers that the computer gods treat mum's computer nicely. hehe.

what a busy week it's been!
i'll see if i can sum up. my best friend, sheryn, has visited from melbourne & spent three days (two nights) staying here with me at mum's place. i took her to the airport tonight to go back to melbourne. shroom's been in bahrain for about four days & seems to be settling in nicely. he's been in contact by email & also once by phone. i've been seeing friends left, right & centre, catching up with them before smiley & i leave. mum's been looking after me so well. tomorrow a bunch of people will turn up throughout the day (including shroom's mum & dad, whom we stayed with before shroom left for bahrain) & i'll get to catch up with anyone i haven't managed to see already. i'm really rather tired, but i'm glad that i've been able to see so many people.
i'll blog again before i leave, but for now i think i have to have a shower & go to bed. very tired. very tired, indeed.
