there was a meetup of bahrain bloggers tonight. i heard about it via a bahrain blogger who left a comment on my site.
it was really great! most of the conversation was about religion, politics & current affairs & it was all almost totally over my head, but i still loved it. i had an excellent evening listening to very interesting conversation. when the next one is on next month i'll definitely be going again & i'll try to convince shroom to come with me. he loves intelligent conversation.

we're here in our new place! it's really lovely. we're about to go out to get some wireless cards for our computers (we're plugged straight into the port in the wall at the moment) so i'll say more later about our new house but for the moment, we're here, we're well & we're really liking it. 
i'm uploading some pics right now, but i'll sort them out with descriptions & titles etc when we get back & then link to them once they're done.
