i've just put up a set of nine pictures taken from google earth, travelling from australia, around the world & then zooming in to where bahrain is. if you have no idea where bahrain is, this will help.

I reckon Google deserves a prize for their digital globe, despite the Google Earth Community (a fine example of unregulated info rmation overload).
Flying around in the Swiss Alps, glacier to valley to mountaintop, is one of my favourites
