stairs with the wall for balance - 10:28 PM

now smiley's starting to navigate up or down the top five or six steps where the ballustrade stops & the wall starts, one step at a time, all feet & no hands on the steps, by having one hand on the wall for balance. on the other steps he's hanging on tight to the vertical bars on the ballustrade to help him up & down, but he obviously doesn't need those anymore.

we went to the central markets this morning. it was quite interesting & a real eye opener in some cases. you'll know what i mean when you got the last pic of the series which i've put up at flickr, the one after the cow carcasses.

start here at the beginning or if you're likely to be seriously ill at the site of animals with no skin, better start here near the end & go backwards so you can skip the last two butcher pictures.
