christmas on a boat - 11:46 PM

it was christmas on five boats, actually. our landlord, adam, invited us out to go on his boat with a whole lot of others & their boats for a christmas party on the water. there were five boats in total & they were all tied up in a row. it was really nice.
there was lots of yummy food, including turkey & mulled wine. i made some anzac biscuits to bring along & they didn't all get eaten (there was so much of everything there!) but there weren't all that many left, so they must have turned out okay despite having to substitute honey for the golden syrup which doesn't seem to be available in bahrain .. at least not in the local cold stores.
