i can't put my finger on it, but there's something decidely disturbing about the teletubbies. tinkywinky's voice makes me shudder. the whole thing is kind of like some freaky dream from which you can't wake.
unfortunately, smiley seems to have taken a shine to them. he thinks they're monkeys.

smiley was just having a wee while sitting on the toilet. sometimes when he aims his willie down into the toilet, he grabs onto it so hard that he sort of blocks it & nothing comes out.
he did this just now & when it stopped flowing, he then poinnted it upwards towards his face to see what was wrong. of course then he'd released the pressure a bit by doing that & proceeded to dribble all over his hand.
i quickly began to wipe his hand with loo paper, but not before he suddenly needed to scratch his nose .. with that hand, of course! ewww! rotfl!

last night we were watching 'hitch' on dvd & smiley was sitting beside me, snuggling into my side. the scene came when the daggy, not-very-cool male character was finally brave enough to give the popular, rich-and-famous female character a romantic kiss goodnight after their date.
suddenly smiley jumped up from beside me & quickly smacked a big kiss right on my lips, then hopped straight back down to continue snuggling.
it was so cute that i'm still grinning about it this morning.
