moisture in the air - 11:57 PM

there's so much moisture in the air in bahrain. tonight there's actually condensation on the inside of the windows (probably on the outside as well), & so much of it that little droplets are actually running down the window.

i noticed the humidity in the air at the dhl children's christmas party. i had some fairy floss (yes, i admit it, i love fairy floss) & it would start to get big beads of moisture in it & begin to get eaten away within a few minutes.

the chairs actually became wet because of it as well. if you wanted to sit down you kind of had to wipe the chair down first.

i suppose being a small island (i.e. surrounded by water) might have something to do with this.

I have noticed, during my stay in Bahrain 5 years ago, that the humidity can be an amusing thing.

For example: the humidity is usually pretty high in the mornings. Walking in from the outside into a cool, air-conditioned space and BOOM, your glasses fog up. On both sides. B-/ ??

More Amusement: can you get Smiley to say "Wet Cats"? Yes! Bahrain has wet cats. Comes from cats sitting under AC units that are dripping constantly with water from the air. Dogs do this, too, but the cats make this more fun.

Pardon me for "raining" a bit on the parade, but whether this world is secular or not, I feel that the word "Christmas" should always be capitalized, as we are talking about Christ, the Lord, and it is his birthday after all that we are celebrating, not some commercial mumble jumble.

Regardless of whom might have done that, there has been such an uproar over "Happy Holidays" and "Holiday Break" instead of "Merry Christmas" since it invokes the name of a religious person.

This is not spam by any means, just an observation that should be noted, as it would it any newspaper, media outlet, or for that matter any Christian as well.

This is what I was referring to in the earlier blog, sorry for not noting the source, as I had forgot.
