skyping with my sister - 07:05 PM

this morning i finally got to talk to my sister for the first time since we left australia. i'd sent a short message or two via email, but she's not really a computer person & tends to avoid the computer as much as possible, so i hadn't gone to much trouble to send regular emails to her. avoiding the computer means she also doesn't read my website, so the only news she had heard was via mum (since i've chatted to mum quite regularly on the computer & she does try to read my site when she can).
so greg got skype running & we were able to talk for about two hours! so much better than making a phone call where you constantly have the thought in the back of your mind how much it's costing.
it was so good to talk with monica again. it's been too long. greg's going to teach mon how to get skype running so that if she finds herself with a few spare moments during the day while greg's not there, she can connect & we can talk if she wants to.
so very good. i'm very happy about having had the chance to have a good conversation with her. 
its nice that you got to talk with mon. keeping contact with relatives is important.
groovy man i got skype too ... does that mean i get to chat to famous ferrous for real on skype ... do i , do i , do i ... huh ... whats your number, cucumber ..
