smiley's still leaving me happier these days, which is very good .. the problem then is that only five minutes after he's left i miss him!

thought i'd give you an update on the state of shroom's health & his chicken pox. he's still got lots & lots of spots, still not itchy, but we hear that different strains can be like that. over the last maybe forty-eight hours he doesn't seem to have developed any new blisters or spots.
the hundreds that he's already covered in seem to be doing what they usually do, which is to go pussy & then scab over in a rather hideous looking manner. he's been taking his tablets & perhaps they've been working, because the spots which started out small seem to have been stopped in their tracks & stayed small. the ones that were already full-blown before he started the medication are substantially bigger, so i can imagine, or would prefer not to imagine, what it would have been like if he hadn't got onto the medication.
he's been sleeping lots, which is good. his fever seems to have gone away. he's not gone back to work yet & i doubt he will until the last scab drops off & the spot fully heals.
poor shroom. at least he's feeling a little bit better.
