fly brushing - 11:57 PM
i just brushed my teeth. i did a really good job tonight, brushed good & long & got all the way behind the back teeth, into all the corners, & brushed my tongue as well.
as i was rinsing my brush, i saw something black trapped in the bristles. i continued to rinse, trying to remove it. i had a growing dread in the back of my mind, but tried to convince myself it was probably some food which had been caught up on my gums from dinner. we did have some egg plant, after all, & that's got black skin.
as the black thing was finally dislodged & just before it fell out into the sink & washed quickly down the drain .. i saw it move. i'm almost dead certain it was a fly.
.. *shudder* ..
the only thing which is keeping me from feeling violently ill is that at least it still seemed to be in one piece.
there's been a fly hanging around in the house for about a week now & if i don't see it over the next day or so, then i'll know for sure that i just brushed my teeth with that fly.
as to how it was in the bristles of my toothbrush & i didn't notice, well, i was trying to go into the main bathroom quietly & quickly & get out again to use the sink in one of the other bathrooms without waking smiley who is asleep on our bed.
i'm going to go to bed now & try not to think about flies.
Oh ugh!! Look on the bright side..... no there isn't one - gross!!!
they do say that fly's are really clean insects. Still freaky. How dumb must your flies be though, to go inside your mouth?

ICK!! I hate bugs, and am scared of spiders. I would have to go buy a new toothbrush, immediately and rebrush.
