smiley was playing with some nut/seed things (here they're called haab, i don't know what they're called elsewhere but i know you can get them other places) & i saw him playing with a few on the spotted scatter cushions on our couch.

i looked up as he said to me, "clock". he'd placed them on the cushion with four seeds on the outside on dots for the numbers 3, 6, 9 & 12, & was turning one in the middle around like the hands of a clock.

i was rather amazed. we've played with clocks before, but i've never made a clock out of anything that wasn't already a clock, if you know what i mean. he did it all on his own.

i had to take a picture of his clock & then got him to turn the middle one around again so i could take a pic as he did it.

my boy is a genius! *wink*

That's pretty fantastic. Of course, now I can't remember a single thing from any of the child development classes I've taken but regardless, that's pretty damn impressive. I have no doubt that you're 100% correct... genious material for sure.
