traffic light colours - 09:06 AM

oky, okay .. i know i am biased, but i really do think smiley is a bit clever.
last night just before bed he was playing with three coins all of the same size. completely on his own, he laid them out in a vertical line & told me they were traffic lights by saying, "red, orange, green," which he says everytime we stop at lights & he wants mummy to keep driving, but i talk with him about the traffic lights & tell him i have to wait until the lights change. then he almost always says, "go-go-go!" (oh yes, it's very cute. heh.)
so i played the game & asked him "which is the green one?" he pointed to the bottom 'light'. "which is the red one?" he pointed to the top one. "which is the orange one?" & he pointed to the middle one.
i think that's pretty amazing that he knows in which order the traffic lights are placed.

since we've had so many hurricanes around here, they've installed new instersection lighting systems that are more sturdy against high winds. the lights are in a horizontal configuration. luckily the colors still mean the same or we'd be all piled atop each other.
