gym update - 08:42 PM

i'm really pleased with my progress at the gym. i've moved onto a different program now since i started. it's only a three day program now, instead of the previous four day program, so that means there are fewer days between working certain muscle groups.

when shroom came back from south africa, he said, "you've lost weight." woohoo! i didn't think i could see the results yet, but with being away for a week, i guess it was more obvious to him. yay!

however, looking in the mirror earlier, i think i can see that i am beginning to get a bit thinner in the face. i've been better at watching what i eat in the last couple of weeks & am actually not feeling so ripped off when i decide that i won't buy that packet of chips afterall. i'm starting to change my eating habits quite successfully.

also, the nappy rash hasn't re-occurred, so i'm happy about that.

as i'm working out, when i see myself in the copious number of mirrors at the gym, i can see muscles developing which i couldn't previously see. i'm not sure if this is because i've started to thin out or because the muscles are getting bigger, or perhaps more defined. i suppose it could be a combination of those things.

i've only missed two or three sessions since i started & i'm pretty sure that all but one of those times was because it clashed with other committments which in turn clashed with looking after smiley.

i'm very pleased indeed with my progress & am still enjoying going there every weekday afternoon. i'm especially enjoying it now that i'm starting to see results. *smile*

how is your energy level? gone up? ...and, obtw, if i need some furniture moved, can i call upon you? should make use of all those muscles. lol

Slimming down is a very nice feeling.
What you are describing is a combination of losing fat (mostly) and gaining muscle (partly). Saying 'no' to all that snack/junk/fast food goes a long way...
