busy days - 08:10 AM

i wrote here about being quite busy lately. i mentioned smiley being sick there, but even when he's not ill, the days are packed full with things for him (& i) to do. here's a list, if you're interested, but it's mainly (as is most of my site) as a reference for me to look back on one day. i'll start with saturdays, since that's the first day of the week here.
saturday: afternoon, swimming lessons for smiley at the british club.
sunday: morning, fit kids at the british club. it's a class for kids to play & learn with physical activities designed to increase their stength & general fitness. he absolutely loves it.
monday: morning, playgroup at golden sands apartment complex. it's just an informal get together of ladies who mostly live at the golden snads apartment complex. they take turns hosting it in their various apartments. i was down at the pool there one time with smiley & one of the ladies approached me & asked if i'd like to attend. even though i'm a ring in (i don't live there) she said i was still welcome to come along with smiley.
tuesday: morning, tots & toddlers at the british club. as of a month or two ago, i'm now running this along with one of the other ladies there, an australian girl. the parent/s & children all meet in a big room with a bunch of toys. it's fairly informal except for at the end we sing songs with the kids.
currently the only day of the week we have off is wednesday, & we also don't have any formal activities planned for weekends (thursdays & fridays). in the afternoons on weekdays i go to the gym, so as you can see, this is why my days are so busy lately.
what with not having a garden & with most daytime outdoor activities being impossible anyway because of the heat, it's important for smiley to have things to do, otherwise he gets really bored & we both feel like killing each other.
it's a g00d job you're not getting bored then. you're not supposed to kill your children

There is always reading anything by Dr. Suess, especially when you are bored. Young children always dig "Green Eggs and Ham."

yup, busy real girl. lets see now; after i retire (someday) it'll be fishing in the mornings (one day fresh water, one day salt water), napping in the afternoons and watching ball games in the evenings. yeah, that'll work just fine.
