at the risk of jinxing myself, smiley's been less 'high maintenance' than usual over the past three or four days. he's been amusing himself for ten or fifteen minutes at a time, which is unheard of for the past few months.
i've had time not only to catch up on people's blogs & at the beading forum, but even to make some jewellery!
i hope this trend continues. mind you, since we're heading to australia in three days, any routine we might have will undoubtedly change. let's hope the ability to amuse himself for more than three minutes continues.
fingers crossed! some kids just get more independent almost over night. he is almost 3, right?.

Fingers crossed that he's becoming more independent. He'll be 3 in Sepetember right. Sometimes little things like that seem to happen over night. Hope he stays that way!. Sounds like you really need the time to yourself!.
