almost ready to go - 03:34 PM

yesterday i packed for the trip to australia. took about two hours to pack my stuff, smiley's stuff & the gifts i'm bringing for everyone. not a bad effort, i think. i might have been able to do it more quickly, except shroom was in the room trying to have a sleep while i packed, so i had to move quietly. might have slowed me down a bit.
i have just a few more things to pack into my case. i'll be bringing the video camera & digital still camera, so i have to make sure i have all the chargers & spare batteries etc. i'll also be bringing my mp3 player & my mobile phone, both of which were bought here (the video camera was also purchased here), so as well as the chargers, i have to bring an adapter so that i can actually plug them into the wall.
i must also make sure that i have any cables i might need to download the pics from my camera to mum's or rudi & audrey's (that's shroom's mum & dad) computers in case i want to upload any pics to flicker while i'm in oz.
so i'm pretty much there. i'll be leaving the house in about two hours & forty-five minutes.
i hope to be blogging at least a few times while i'm away, so you can expect something from me, i'm sure. i'll see you all from australia!
i'm sure you are in the air already and chasing smiley up and down the aisles. hope the trip went well. see you on the back side.
