we're in sydney - 02:07 AM

just a wuick one to let you all know where i'm at. arrived in sydney last night & got to the house of my friend, helen, just after 9pm sydney time. went to bed surprisingly early (12:30am) considering that smiley might have stayed awake all night & he only woke once at about 4am for a drink of water. he's still asleep now.
i wish i could go back to bed because i only got about 2 hours sleep on the overnight flight. so not only am i severely jet-lagged (it's just after 8am here, but after 1am on my body clock) but i'm totally tired from no sleep as well. i'm glad i had a good sleep last night, at least. 
anyway, it's probably just as well i'm awake now & having to leave in about forty-five minutes for the aiport to catch our flight to brisbane, because if i did go back to bed, then it wouldn't really be helping smiley's & my body clock to adjust.
when we arrive in brissy, mum's taking my sister & i, & our various offspring, away for the weekend for a mum & girls & grandkids weekend away, so i might not have a chance to blog again until sunday or monday.
okay. i'd better brush my hair & teeth etc, make sure all my stuff is still together & make sure smiley's ready to go as well. hope you all have a good weekend!
