more driving in oz compared to bahrain - 06:37 AM
(filed under 'bahrain')
another thing i'm having to watch while i'm back in australia for this month-long visit is my speed while driving. in bahrain there are speed limits, but not many people actually follow them. they usually just go whatever speed they like .. at least on the freeways. the back streets are usually more full of cars so that you can't go very fast.
i've finally got used to having the blinkers & the wipers on the 'wrong' sides of the steering wheel, too, & now i keep on turning on the wipers when i actually want the blinkers & the blinkers when i want the wipers.
life is an adventure. if everything was easy, it would be boring.
Adapt and survive... 8O!!
Going from point A to B with as much aggravation as possible: driving in a foreign country before driving in your home area.
Yes, army tanks use both sides AND have right of way...
