today will be the first whole day smiley & i will have had on our own for ages! rudi's gone bushwalking with a friend for the whole day & audrey is working as per her usual roster. rudi is retired, so spends most days here pottering around the garden, with smiley following him around, but today it'll bejust smiley & i.
i've been spoiled since i've been here. having one or two other people around almost constantly to share smiley's 'affections' has been a nice treat for me.
so today i'll have to be prepared to do smiley things. looks like there'll be walks in the garden, catching butterflies, playing in the gravel on the driveway.
