i miss him - 04:26 AM

i'm loving my time here, but boy do i miss smiley. even though i'd love to stay here, i'm really looking forward to seeing my beautiful little boy again.
this morning (& the other night) i had a little weep as i watched some of the videos of him on the video camera. it's certainly not as good as being able to grab him & give him a big hug & a kiss, but at least i can still see him that way.
i've been keeping in regular emiail contact with rudi & audrey & they've told me that smiley's been doing really well. he only asked for once the other day & when poppy told him that i'd be back in a few days he was happy with that & went on his way. i'm pleased that i'm missing him far more than he's (at least visibly) missing me. that's the way it should be.
i know he's in very good hands with his nanna & poppy & i know they'll have been keeping him busy with all sorts of fun things which an almost three year old little boy loves to do. i know for a fact that if he wasn't with them, he'd have the chance to miss me more. they do so very well with him.
