oh, man. after three years break & now my third period just started, i'd really forgotten about the insane moods that can happen with such major hormonal upheavals.
last night i was so aggro about everything. the news was making me angry, tv ads were making me angry, even the little green & red triangles they used for showing the up & down movements of the stock market were making me annoyed. thankfully those moods only last about twenty-four hours. if i had to be like that for a week, i think i'd shoot myself .. unless somone else got to me before i had a chance to. lol!! 
i found my moods were the worst thing to deal with after getting my period back.
i've had it back since december and i'm still highly moody for at least a day!!
i've also found that due to the hormones, i feel quite sick and could easily throw up, too. but that only lasts a day, too!
....and you think its fun from us guy's side? nope!

I know exactly where you are coming from, although, I dont get the periods now so much as I have a coil fitted but I know exactly when I am due for a period as I change into a nasty, angry, monster, for a day. I also crave chocolate and will eat a bar of cadbury's milk chocolate to myself lol and wont share it. lol.
