steve irwin died - 09:55 AM

oh my gosh. i just heard on the radio about steve irwin. killed by a sting ray barb right to the heart. that's really sad. i almost cried when i thought about his two kids now without their dad. he might have been a controversial figure at some times in his life, but he was one of those people you kind of assumed would always be there.
rest in peace, steve irwin.

its such a tragic loss & still seems so surreal - i will go to the zoo tomorrow to leave some flowers & a donation for his legacy fund - RIP steve - my heart goes out to his wife & gorgeous kids

I know! Someone said here at work said it was like finding out Santa Claus had died. He was such a larger than life figure, but only a young man with 2 little kids. Poor little kids and poor wife.
