moving in - 01:24 PM

since the fridge arrived this morning & we got smiley's big red car bed set up, we're ready to go into our new house tonight! woohoo! very exciting. 
i don't have the phone or internet arranged yet (not to mention that my computer is also still in transit) so i won't have internet access except at rudi & audrey's place, so if you don't hear from me for a while, you know why. hopefully i'll get that organised & my computer will arrive soon & i'll be all set for everything.

sleep adjustments - 02:52 AM

smiley didn't do too badly with his sleep last night. after going to sleep at 7pm (when we tried very hard & managed to keep him awake for another two hours later than the time he really wanted to go to sleep) i then followed him about an hour later at 8pm. he woke up at about 9pm crying & all upset about something he didn't or couldn't seem tell me about. i wonder if he was a bit disoriented. thankfully, he settled down after a few minutes & went back to sleep. he then woke again at midnight & was awake for a couple of hours, but amazingly enough i managed to keep him in bed & he went back to sleep at 2am.
i then woke him to go to the toilet at about 8am after he did a small wee in the bed. he's only done that about three times since he's been out of nappies & usually wakes up when he does, but he must have been tired enough to not notice.
after sleeping for about eighteen hours straight when he was sick in thailand, his sleep pattern was rather distrupted anyway .. now we have jet lag on top of that. all in all, though, i'm quite happy with the amount of sleep we both managed to get last night.
