crunchy leaves - 12:14 PM

i'm at mum's place, checking my email etc on her computer & i was just outside with smiley in the yard. i was showing smiley how to step on the pieces of bark which had fallen from a large gum tree, to make them crunch under his feet.
it reminded me of years ago when i was working for myself cleaning houses for a living. i was at a client's house, in their yard for some reason (perhaps i was emptying the vacuum cleaner into the bin) & there were a lot of dried out leaves which had fallen from the trees. i was walking around, merrily stepping on as many leaves as i could, thorougly enjoying myself making crunchy sounds under my feet. turns out the lady of the house was watching me & thought it was rather amusing. just as well she was someone as young at heart as me, so she didn't think i was too silly. lol!

i just realised i've been blogging in the wrong time zone for the past couple of weeks or so since i've been back. heh. so if the times have seemed odd (not that i've ever really looked at the times on other people's blogs), then now you know why. should be right now, though.
