smiley loves numbers & at one stage when he was reciting some numbers over & over again, i would have started saying "number nine, number nine, number nine" myself, quoting the beatles' song 'revolution number nine'.
yesterday while we were out & about, walking through a car park as it happened, smiley started saying "number nine, number nine, number nine." so, of course, i said, "that's a beatles' song!" so then he took up the theme in his own three year old manner & said, "number five, number five, number five. that's a butterfly's song." then continued with "number seven, number seven, number seven. that's a crocodile's song," etc.
i totally cracked up laughing & i think i scared a lady sitting in her car which i was passing as i laughed out loud.
Oh dear me, could he be any cuter?! That's so funny and sweet - and smart!

so he picked up on his own theme. thats kewl. might be hard to find a correlation with all the numbers. could make a game of it.
