camera copy cats - 10:54 AM

it seems that greg & myself copy each other when it comes to digital cameras.
perhaps three or four years ago, mon & greg's family & mine were all in the same room at a family get together. greg pulled out his sony cybershot U & i looked at him funny & said something like, "where did you get that?" because i thought he'd somehow appropriated my own camera which shroom had just bought for me & which was actually in my bag at that time. the cybershot u comes in three different colours & it turned out that he'd not only just bought one for himself, but had even chosen the same colour! i then pulled out my own camera to show him & we had a good laugh.
yesterday, at our lunchtime family christmas get together, i showed him my new canon powershot S3 IS. he laughed & said that they had the exact same camera which they'd bought for themselves last christmas. mine is actually a slightly newer model, but their's, the canon powershot S2 IS, is almost exactly the same & comes in silver.
so not only did we buy the same cameras twice in a row, but we've even changed brands & followed each other to the new brands. we thought it was quite amusing.
