nicola & jack's visit - 06:39 PM

nicola & jack, my visitors for the past three days, left this afternoon for the rest of their holiday. it was so nice to have them here! they were wonderful, generous & kind visitors. smiley fell totally in love with nicola & didn't want to stop playing with her & showing her things & talking to her. it was lovely to see the two of them together.

as a thank you for having them stay (seriously, the pleasure was all mine), they took smiley & i to the woodford folk festival! we camped there overnight last night & we returned shortly after midday today. it was awesome! we all had a such a great time that we hope to go again next year & maybe even stay for the whole thing (it goes over five or six days).
i took some pics while i was there, but i didn't take as many as i would have liked to since the batteries i bought for my camera just didn't cut it (might have to invest in a couple of sets of rechargeable ones). you can see some of the woodford pics here:

http://stores.ebay.com.au/newtonsofsale this is where mum got some batteries and i got some from there last time she ordered too. they're very nice batteries and the seller always gives good service. i got us about 30 aaas so far, next time i get some i'll get aas. we just had a more urgent for the aaa initially
want to get enough so that eventually i won't have to buy batteries except for the tiny round kind..looks like fun was had by all. the pics reveal that it may have been a bit rainly. thanks for the pics.
