almost all better - 05:49 PM

it's day five of smiley's tummy bug & he's doing much better. he's had a touch of diarrhoea during it, but mostly it's been vomiting. normall he'd be spewing about half an hour after each meal, but the last two days he's been keeping his food down much longer.
today he's had only one spew which was just now after having a fairly large breakfast much earlier this morning. he didn't have any lunch (we went to mum & bill's place for a family lunch) today, so that means he kept everything down from this morning.
if there's no spewing tonight & none in the morning, i'll have to think about whether he's well enough to go to kindy tomorrow. it might be better to make sure he's gone a whole day without being sick before he goes back. i don't want him to spread it to any other kids. i'm pretty sure that's where he would have caught it from anyway, but i imagine there are some kids there who haven't had it yet. don't want to spread this tummy bug any further.
even though he saw mon & greg's two girls at lunch today, kelsey & britt & smiley were asked not to touch each other or each other's toys so that they don't get it. monnie's starting a new job this week, so aside from her not wanting her girls to get sick because it would be awful for them, she also doesn't want to have to take time off when she's only just started.
