angie has asked me questions now, so read more if you're interested.
With all that's happened in the past year or so, is there anything you would change if you could?
i might have pulled the plug earlier, but then again, i think that if i had, i'd not have such strong resolves now about what i want for myself & for smiley. i think that everything happened at just the right time. it's all a learning & strengthening experience. 
When are you coming to NZ? (Had to sneak that one in there!)
i went years ago with my parents when i was about thirteen, but i'd love to go back again. mind you, i wouldn't go for the touristy things (although i might do some of that since i was there) i'd go mainly to visit you. perhaps i should plan for a trip for the future!
What is your dream job? Would it be something creative?
ummm .. in some way, perhaps it would be, but i can't think of any of the creative pursuits that i do now that i'd like to turn into work. perhaps if there was nothing at all holding me back (being away from family etc), my dream job would be to be a motivational speaker to help people have better self esteem & life goals.
What's the biggest challenge of being a single parent?
i guess it would be not having as much 'me time' as i'd like. i get plenty of help from smiley's nanna & poppy, because they have him at their place for a sleep over once a week & often come to pick him up to play at their hours at least one other time during the week. that still leaves a lot of times when there are things that i'd be doing if smiley wasn't there, though. having said that, i'd never give him up just to have that 'me time'. those other things can wait. he's already growing up too fast. i don't want to miss any of it.
edited to add that the hardest bit is, i think, when i have serious pms.
