winter wardrobe - 12:37 AM

i spent some money on clothes today. stuff i need for winter. most of my clothes were given away or sold in our garage sale when we got rid of 95% of everything we owned to go to bahrain & so i'm finding that i'm lacking the clothes i need for the coming winter.
also, most of the decent shirts i own had holes eaten in them by little creatures in bahrain, or perhaps by the really harsh desalinated water.
so today i spent just over $100 on five tops & a dress. bit of a bargain, really. four of the shirts are either long or three-quarter sleeves, each of them with a scoop neck (my favourite type of shirt, i think it suits me well) & all of which can be worn under the dress or with jeans or shorts. the dress is good for summer & winter because it can have a shirt worn under it or not.
the fifth top is lovely & is more of a summer top, but if i can find a nice jacket to go over it, then i'll be able to wear it through winter as well.
i might ask my mum if she has any jackets she's not wearing anymore. we're about the same size & she tends to change the items in her wardrobe with some regularity, so she might just have something.
the top goes with three or four skirts that i already own, so it was definitely a good buy. to have it match that many items of clothing already existing in my wardrobe - sight unseen - is amazing!
$100 is money i could probably have spent on other things, but i really do need stuff for winter & besides, that's prety damn good money for a whole season's worth of clothing.
Nice cleavage!!! Plus it is nice to spoil yourself and clothes really do make the man, or woman in this case!!!

i usually wear the same things year round. toss a jacket on if its cold.
