(entered on my handheld while in sydney & uploaded later.)
i'm at hellie's house, ensconced (sp?) in her bedroom, enjoying the pretty colours. the block of units she lives in is very art deco & they're just gorgeous. inside, each room is painted a different colour.
hellie's room is a kind of dusty lilac. the entrance hall is a beautiful sky blue. the bathroom is yellow & blue & the kitchen a sunny yellow. the ceilings have those cool plaster moldings around the edges & the hanging light shades are pretty, but understated floral leadlight.
i think the building is actually old, but they've done a really nice job of refurbishing & updating the inside while keeping the original look & feel of the place intact.
hellie's doing massage at the clinic today (as she does every saturday as part of completing her course), so i have the day to myself until about 5pm.
i'm still in my pajamas & only moved out of the bed far enough to get my handheld & my phone, so the only solid plan i have for the day so far is to call smiley to see how he's doing. he'll be fine, of course, but it'll be nice to hear his voice. he doesn't tend to talk long on the phone to me on the few occasions i've had to call him, but that might change this week since we won't be seeing each other every day as we usually do.
