today is my last day here. my flight leaves at 5pm this afternoon. i've had a wonderful holiday. i've spent fun & quality time with wonderful friends & i feel as though i've fed my mind, my body, my soul & my spirit.
i've had great conversations, yummy food, read & bought interesting books, recalled lovely, sometimes funny & often previously forgotten memories from the past & made some wonderful new memories.
this short holiday seems to be exactly what i needed, even though i didn't know i needed it before i left.
i'm really looking forward to seeing smiley tonight. i've spoken to him on the phone several times over the course of the week but it'll be wonderful to actually grab hold of him & give him a big kiss & a cuddle. not long now.
