great to be home with smiley - 04:30 PM

i had an awsome holiday, but i'm so pleased to be back home with smiley.
mum picked me up from the airport last night & took me home via rudi & audrey's place to pick up smiley. he was really excited. he saw me & ran back up the hall, literally jumping up & down & saying, "mummy's home! mummy's home!"
i picked him up for a big hug & he hung on tight for about ten minutes, talking non-stop, telling me about everything he'd been up to over the week & taking me here & there to show me things.
eventually he finished show & tell & mum drove us both the rest of the way home. even then, he still talked all the way home. i've seen him like that with his daddy when he hasn't seen him in a while. so much exciting news to tell. it's pretty darn cute. 
he's been practically glued to me ever since i arrived home last night. i don't mind at all, though. i missed him terribly, too.
