my friend, fiona, who i visited over lunch when i was in sydney, is here in brissy for a few days. she came over for a visit a few days ago & was impressed with smiley's advanced writing skills. she's a teacher by trade (although she's now at home with her two boys) & so she has a good idea of what's advanced & what's not. she recommended that i work with him with some flash cards.
she called this morning & said she was dropping past to give me something for smiley. she bought him two sets of flash cards! i thought that was so lovely of her to do that. one set is pictures, numbers & shapes, the other is basic words. smiley & i have had a look at them already & he loves them. he really is so keen to learn. as fiona said, that's half the battle won!

they really do work. i used the math ones with my son. it did help him.
