computer just died - 10:09 AM

my computer has died. i was trying to get some of smiley's pictures off his little camera & it wasn't connecting, or when it did connect, it wouldn't show me the pictures. so i installed a driver for it. it told me to reboot & lo & behold, it just sat there. i couldn't even get to safe mode. i hate that.
i'm at rudi & audrey's place. i brought smiley around to visit & so took the chance to blog about this. it's rather annoying, to say the least.
i'm not sure when it'll be back in action. i'll have to find some place to get it repaired. how long that'll take is beyond me. i'm tempted to buy a new computer since mine was playing up occasionally, but i'd like to get it repaired anyway since i was planning to retire it to smiley when i eventually did get a new computer.
so you'll hear from me again once my computer is fixed. *sigh* how frustrating.
