lack of proper case - 08:43 PM

since i decided to do the course at uq (uni of queensland) to lead to a career in proofreading, it's been in the back of my mind that i don't use proper case on my website. it's not lack of knowing how, it's simply a style choice .. but it still sort of concerned me.
i just now logged into the 'blackboard' area of the uq intranet relating to my course & have seen some entries there by the lecturer, a lady named roslyn. in those messages, she's typed in all lower case just as i do here. lol!!

i know i've sort of jokingly called smiley 'boy genius' before, because of him being not quite four yet & already writing, doing a small amount of reading & even some very simple maths, but this morning he totally blew me away.
i was getting into the shower while smiley was refusing. i was trying to convince him to get in by telling him i was going to play with his bath toys, those foam letters & numbers which you can stick to the side of the bath or the wall. he still wasn't convinced, but did want to play with those, so i gave up trying to get him to shower, gathered up the lettes & sort of tossed them outside the bathroom door onto the hall floor near him.
less than thirty seconds later, he called out something about wanting the letter v. i called back that i'd put all of them out there already, but then i looked & there was indeed the letter v sitting all on its own at the back of the bath.
with all of the letters scattered all over the floor, in less than thirty seconds, he'd seen that the letter v was missing. as i said, it totally blew me away.
