after-nap grogginess - 05:13 PM

i do love a good afternoon sleep, but the grogginess afterwards is a killer. i'm going to have some early dinner/late lunch now, so i guess that'll wake me up a bit. hopefully. ugh.

i rarely take naps for that very reason. make me feel somewhat disorientated.

i find that having a quick snack that is high in natural sugars is the key to losing that awful groggy feeling. i usually have an apple.
that said, a few squares of dark chocolate also works well, and any excuse for chocolate is a good one!

I know the feeling, I rarely have to take a nap in the late weekend afternoon because I just can't keep my eyes open, but the rest of the day(night) is a bit lost to me on those occasions. I prefer an early night.
