smiley's writing is amazing. i can see major improvement in how well he writes his letters & numbers, even from just a few months ago. i almost never do any actual 'work' with him on it, it's all his own skill & i simply follow his lead & guide him. keep in mind that's only just turned four years old.

these are the words he can write all on his own (without needing to ask how to spell them) & which he recognises when he sees them. the list is pretty much in the order that he learned them:

- love
- team
- abc (yes, i know it's part of the alphabet, but this is abc as in the australian broadcasting company)
- hi-5 (as in the kids' entertainment group)
- riley
- on
- off
- no
- exit

There's no mum in the list because it wasn't written on a sign or switch *wink*

Let's see what he can do when he's actually 6 years old.
