getting old? - 05:08 PM

i don't usually feel old, but when i fill in surveys these day, i fall into the 35 to 44 (or something like that) age group. it just seems so weird to be lumped in with people who, in my mind, i sometimes consider to be 'old'.

hold that thought, though. you see, i have friends this age & older & i rarely think of them as 'old'. when i'm presented with a number like that, i suppose it's a hangover from when i was still a kid & anyone over 40 seemed ancient to me.

i guess it's also that i don't feel anywhere near my actual age.

Just a number indeed. My parents have recently fallen into the 55+ Category, but I don't see them belonging there ever *smile* (Dad's been looking like 57 for ages anyway)
