i wasn't game to go back into the car until just now, about twenty-four hours after the cleanup from yesterday's huge vomit event. it started raining a bit, so prompted by that, i just now took smiley's car seat off the line & put the cover back on. it's not too much worse for wear after two cycles through the washing machine, aside from some lint that it didn't have previously.
i figured i'd also check out the car to see how it was faring & there's not the slightest smell of vomit. the suggestions of bicarb soda (baking soda) to get rid of the awful smell did the trick. woohoo!
