the last bit in the cup - 06:58 AM

smiley has this thing where he won't drink the last tiny bit in the cup. he'll drink all of it & leave just a bit down the bottom. it's not that he's had enough, because he'll often then ask me for more of the same of what he's just had.
i say to him, "finish this last bit, please, & then i'll fill it up," but he refuses.
if he wants more of the same, then i'll just leave the last bit in there & top it up, but i can't trick him when he's left a tiny dribble of milk & he then wants some water. doh. lol! 
if it's something in, for instance, a pop-top bottle, then he'll tip it right up & drink the last bit, but in a cup? never. you'd think it'd be the other way around, really. you'd think that in a bottle you're more likely to have backwash left in the last bit. not so much in a cup. maybe he knows something that i don't know.
i have no idea where he picked this up from. i guess it's just some idea that he got into his head all on his own.
i have it to, whit the coffee. there's always
a last bit in the cup. when i go to my parrents, my mom also saying for years that i drink ing my cup off coffee till the last bit. but i dont do it.
I used to do it when I was little, because there were tea leaves in the tea! But I do remember doing it with drinks other than tea too.
I grew out of it
I still do this with whatever I drink. My hubby always says "why don't you drink that?" Well, I don't know, lol.

From a really young age I have and still do the same thing. I don't know why but the last bit of milk in a glass just wont go down, the same for when Im drinking a cuppa tea or coffee I just cant drink the last bit.
