dying tooth - 01:31 PM

i happened to look in the mirror at my teeth this morning while i was brushing them & i have a tooth that's turning grey! i'm sure i've looked at my teeth at least in the last couple of weeks, so it must have just started recently.
i've booked in to see the dentist, but that's not for a couple of weeks. i hope it doesn't start to look too gross before then. mind you, when i smile, mostly my top teeth show. the dying tooth is at the bottom, one across from the next to the middle tooth, on my right side.
i can't imagine this is going to be cheap.

Do you happen to have an amalgam (silver) filling in that tooth? If so, this could cause discoloration.
Chances are if the root is still living a root canal and crown will be an option. Yes, expensive but honestly not very painful.
If the root isn't living an extraction will be quick and relatively painless.
You will be amazed at what they can do these days!

nope.....and not pleasant. i hate to visit dentists. i have a bit of a phobia over it.
