yesterday i took smiley to mcdonalds in the afternoon to play in the play area. he'd been in there a little while playing & having fun with another kid when he came out to tell me, 'mummy. that little boy went home with his mummy.'
'that's okay, darling.'
'but i like him so much!'
so cute.

good to close it down for repairs of any hazards than to leave it open. a sign outside saying its closed would be nice though.

we took abigail to our mcdonalds, to get an icecream and play in the play area. after we'd eaten our icecreams I took her to the play area, only to find a sign on the door saying that it's closed!!!
you think she wasn't upset about that! Jade complained on their website. Those play areas are a huge pull for kids, and to get a two year old to the door, fully expecting to go on the slide, and then say that she can't do it, does not leave for a happy child.
