back in my own bed - 10:45 PM

(entered on my handheld while lying in bed shortly after arriving home from the woodford folk festival & uploaded later.)
i'm home & back in my own bed & aside from liking the mattress more & enjoying the luxurious shower i just had, it really doesn't compare to being out in the middle of the countryside, cows mooing from the neighbouring field, the sound of people moving about talking, singing & playing a drum or guitar, & the sound of the rain pouring down on the tarp stretched out only six feet above my head.
i miss the festival already.

i got so busy right up to the point of leaving for camping at the woodford folk festival that i completely forgot to blog before i left to say 'bye' & to wish everyone a happy new year, etc. i had every intention to, but i suffered so much trauma from packing the car that it slipped my mind. lol! 
smiley & i are back (well, smiley's having a sleep over at his nanna & poppy's actually, so technically he's not back home yet). i blogged on my palm pda while i was away, but for now i just want to go & have a shower & hit the sack. i'm definitely ready for bed.
a belated happy new year to everyone & i'll update with my blogs from woodford tomorrow. talk to you then!
