the girl from a few doors up, whose son's birthday party we went to today where smiley was sick, just dropped by to see how smiley was doing. what a nice thing to do.

i picked up smiley from his nanna & poppy's place this afternoon to take him to a birthday party at hungry jacks. on the way here, he was rather quiet & when i asked if he was okay, he said that he felt sick.
so far we've spent most of our time sitting in the gutter waiting for smiley to spew. he had a spew before (there were some lychees in it from rudi & audrey's garden, although i don't know why that would make him sick), felt better enough to start playing with the other kids, had a drink of water, threw that up on the tiles in the outdoor area, went to play again for a bit & then back to the gutter which is where we are now.
he doesn't even feel like eating the nuggets he got for the birthday meal, although he is sipping the lemonade. that might help a bit.
poor little sweetie.
ouch. while i've been seitting here with him, two ants have bitten me. hmm. the sacrifices we make,hey? heh.
edit at 5:06pm: we're home now. he got sick again, so it's obviously not something he ate. better to take him home than spread whatever he has to the other kids.
