burnt my lip - 07:02 AM

i just burnt my lip on a bit of pasta before.
i took one piece of shell pasta out of the saucepan to see if it was ready & blew on it once or twice before putting it into my mouth. i didn't realise there was still some boiling hot water inside the shell bit & when i put it into my mouth, the water made contact with the inside of my mouth & the edge of my lip.
i spat it out & put some cold water on it immediately & then got some ice in a cloth onto it, but i've still got a tiny blister on my lip.
thankfully, it wasn't worse! i kept ice on it for a good half hour, i reckon & it still hurts a bit. ow.
normal comment..... yes an increase in pain will be felt with immediate contact with the lips and hot liquid , this may be remedied by the quick application of ice or very cold water... should pain or complications persist please see your Doctor.
