no more 'mummy' - 07:22 PM

in the last week or two, smiley seems to have suddenly graduated from 'mummy' & 'daddy' to just 'mum' & 'dad', instead.

i'm not sure why. perhaps it's something he's seen on tv.

it's kind of sad for me. i liked hearing 'mummy' from him. hearing him call me 'mum' instead reminds me that he really is growing up & he's no longer my little baby. really, he'll always be my baby to me, but i guess he's starting to become a grown up baby.

*sniff* *sad*

i am pleased to see him grow into a little boy instead of a baby, but it's kind of bitter sweet, you know?

when abigail tries that shit on me, i tell her "it's MUMMY, thankyou!" and she doesn't try the mum thing for a week or so again *smile*
