burn for four hours - 01:51 PM
i wonder why some long-burning candles have the advice that you should burn the candle for a miniumum of four hours the first time you use them?
i've seen this a few times. i'm not sure what difference it would make. the cynic in me wonders if maybe it's just so that you're already four hours closer to buying another candle. *raises an eyebrow*

hi coralie,
they tell you not to burn it long at first like that because the wick burns down, all the while your wax is still tall and intact, thus forming a well and youll end up cutting it down to the wick and wasting half the candle....
been there done that ( it happens for real LOL )
