details on the attitude - 08:45 AM
i thought i'd give some more details on how smiley is acting during this hormonal stage of his which i described here.
some of the behaviour which is particularly frustrating is the mood swings. here are two examples.
he was sitting having his breakfast, in a perfectly okay mood. he said, 'mm, yum.' & i said to him, 'is that good, sweetie?' his head spins around several times, eyes glowing & vomit spewing forth, & he grunts in a gutteral tone, 'just leave me alone!'
okay, so there was no headspinning, etc, but there may as well be for the way his mood changes so suddenly.
another occasion was when i picked him up from an overnight stay at his nanna & poppy's place. he was excitable, but seemed to be in a nice mood. we drove down the driveway & i asked him, 'did you have a nice time at nanna & poppy's, darling?' the mood turns & he shouts, 'just don't talk to me!'
see what i mean?
no one changes into such a little alien, so suddenly, & so different from what they're normally like, without the aid of hormones. hormones can be great, but they can also be mean & nasty things that will completely take over your brain & your body. trust me, i know.
so this sort of things goes on god knows how many times in a day. add to that the belligerence, the impatience, the complete ignoring of his usually excellent manners, the way he demands that things are done his way!! & right now!! & perhaps you'll get an inkling of why i'm so desperate to get to the end of this hormonal freakiness.
